Meet Luana

Born and raised in Western Sydney, I come from a diverse Polynesian and American background.

My journey into the world of eyelash extensions began with a desire for financial freedom and a career that felt less like work and more like a passion. I wanted a lifestyle that allowed me to be with my family and not feel the stress of financial burdens.

In 2017, I started lashing in my grandma's second living room, equipped with only a second-hand bed, a kmart light, and an old bedside table as my lash station. 

This humble beginning ignited my passion and set the foundation for what would become Vanity Lash Room.

In 2020, I launched my online e-commerce brand, Vanity Lash Room, with a mission to help other artists across Australia combat the stigma that eyelash extensions are unhealthy and “ cause lashes to fall out”.

 I invested over $25K in the initial trials to develop our unique Vanity pre-made fans, ensuring the highest quality and healthiest options for our clients.

In 2021, we added our second location for supplies pick-up, and in 2023, we opened our very own eyelash retail store located in Penrith 2750.

With six years of experience in the lash industry as of August 2024, I have had the pleasure of training over 186 in-person students. I genuinely love helping women build at-home businesses because it brings them so much freedom and opportunity.

My goal is to spread the love of healthy lashes and support fellow artists in providing the best services possible. 

Through Vanity Lash Room, I strive to change the perception of eyelash extensions and help others achieve beautiful, lasting results.

Emerging Elite Lash Artist

Meet Kathleen

Kathleen is our newest emerging lash technician at Vanity Lash Room. Growing up in Davao City Philippines, she now brings her warmth, passion, and dedication to every client she meets. After years as a stay-at-home mum, Kathleen discovered her love for the art of lashing and has been perfecting her skills for over 2 years.

With a focus on precision, she loves using her ultra-fine tip isolation and volume tweezers to create stunning customized sets. Kathleen believes in enhancing natural beauty with subtle touches that elevate your look without being overly noticeable.

When she’s not lashing, Kathleen enjoys reading, experimenting in the kitchen, and indulging in a bit of retail therapy. She’s also a secret gamer and has a passion for exploring diverse cuisines, especially Korean BBQ.

Joining Vanity Lash Room has been a long-awaited dream for Kathleen, driven by her commitment to making clients look and feel their best. She’s excited to bring her unique touch to every appointment and to be a part of our growing family.

LASH BOTOX SPECIALIST

Meet Yazmin

Yazmin is Vanity Lash Room’s talented Lash Botox Specialist.

After seven years in the corporate property sector, Yazmin decided to follow her heart and dive into the beauty industry. Originally from Malta, Yazmin found the perfect opportunity at Vanity to refine her skills, learn from the best, and provide high-quality services in a field she genuinely loves.

Yazmin fell in love with lash botox because of its ability to restore and rejuvenate natural lashes, giving clients that fresh, lifted look without the need for extensions.

She enjoys seeing the instant transformation it brings and finds it deeply rewarding to help clients embrace their natural beauty while enhancing their confidence.

When she’s not transforming clients at Vanity, Yazmin stays active and energized. Known as a “Pilates queen,” she enjoys running, soaking up the sunshine, and spending time with family.

Yazmin’s enthusiasm, attention to detail, and dedication to making her clients feel their best make her a perfect fit for Vanity Lash Room. We’re thrilled to have her on board and can’t wait to see the amazing things she’ll achieve!

Meet Ray

Ray has been a cornerstone of Vanity Lash Room almost from the very beginning. His invaluable contribution as our warehouse inventory and dispatch specialist ensures that every order is meticulously packed and dispatched with care. Known for his generosity, Ray often includes extra freebies in your packages, adding a special touch to every delivery - without telling Luana obviously 

Born in Australia with a full Samoan heritage, Ray brings a unique blend of culture and dedication to our team. His passion for rugby and fitness, along with his love for spending quality time with his family, keeps him grounded and energized.

Ray values the flexibility and dynamic nature of working at Vanity Lash Room. He finds great satisfaction in contributing to the growth and movement of the brand, knowing that his efforts help bring joy to clients across Australia.
